Dr. Nok Interventional Pain Specialists

Sackdinanh Nok Keomahathai, M.D.

Dr. Nok | President/CEO

Since 2002, Dr. Nok has been a dedicated medical professional serving Northwest Georgia. He possesses extensive knowledge in various medical disciplines and is double board-certified in both Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His exceptional training includes a unique dual fellowship from Michigan State University in Sports Medicine and Electrodiagnostic Medicine—the only one of its kind in the U.S. Moreover, his residency at the University of Virginia enabled him to develop a strong foundation in treating a wide range of injuries, from musculoskeletal to brain injuries, and addressing general medical deconditioning.

Dr. Nok’s commitment to excellence in patient care led him to serve as the medical director for inpatient rehabilitation at Floyd Medical Center from 2002 to 2013 and at Redmond Regional Medical Center from 2002 to 2017. Concurrently, he provided outpatient care for patients in pain, enhancing his reputation as one of Georgia’s most skillful and innovative pain physicians.

Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Nok is an active member of the medical community. He has contributed to the Georgia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (GSIPP) since 2018, holding positions as Secretary, Vice President, and currently serves as its President.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Nok has a rich personal life. He enjoys attending concerts, sharing music with his friends and family, and playing instruments like the guitar and saxophone. His lifelong engagement with lacrosse began in his youth and continues as he coaches middle school teams, promoting the sport’s growth. He is also involved in a variety of other activities, including wrestling, kickboxing, skiing, and fishing, and he values the time he spends traveling with loved ones.
